Keyboard shortcuts
In most browsers you can go to other pages through keyboard shortcuts. If you have a PC that operates with Windows, press ALT + the designated access key, and then press Enter.

If you have a Macintosh, press Control + the designated access key, and then press Enter.

Below is a guide to the access keys that are used throughout this site:

1 = Home page
2 = Join BMA
3 = Sitemap
4 = Privacy policy
5 = Advanced search
6 = Contact us
7 = Feedback
8 = Terms and conditions
9 = Help
0 = Menu page of access keys detailing the access keys used within the web site and the services they link to
S = Skip navigation

Page layout
The look of the web site is governed by cascading style sheets. However, if your browser does not support them, you will still be able to read the content.

Text links
Wherever possible, links are written out in an explanatory manner so as to make sense even if taken out of context.

For those links that may not be understood out of context, title attributes are provided.

Please note that this is a feature that cannot be validated with software.

PDF documents
We have tried to provide documents, reports and publications in HTML or plain text as well as PDF versions. However, this is not always possible, so we state in plain text where a PDF can be downloaded.

To view and print PDF files, you must have Adobe® Acrobat® Reader installed: you can download this product for free by
going to the Adobe site http://www.adobe.co.uk/products/acrobat/readstep.html

If you cannot use Acrobat Reader to see these documents (for example, if you use screen reader software or an audio-enabled web browser), Adobe provide a free online tool to convert them to text.

To do this, submit the web address (URL) of the Adobe Acrobat document you want to read to the web form on the web page http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/access_onlinetools.html

You can choose whether you want the document sent to you as a web page (HTML) or as plain text or emailed to you as an attachment.
